May
From a series of twelve titles cut from up to 20 calendars by Meredith Worsfold. May was cut at least 12 times. This jigsaw has the lowest piece count of all the known Calendar Series examples. It is part of a complete set, donated to a charity and sold on ebay in 2014.
Another copy of May is in BCD’s loan box. It has a higher piece count of 158pc and is marked no345 (in Meredith’s surviving records this is given as undated no344 9x9in). No 1071 in 1990 is the latest known cutting of May in Meredith’s records.
Compare the cuts of the two copies and the rear to see the line-cutting.
