Butterfly Botanica by Hello Angel

This delicate looking, pretty vine-cut Wentworth, Butterfly Botanica by Hello Angel from Summer 2025, consists of twelve overlapping butterfly patterns creating seventeen dropouts. There are sixteen butterfly whimsies, four of which are 2-piece (I’ve marked them all in one of the photos). There are three different sizes of spirals, fancy connectors and teardrop shapes on the edges.

The cut and image aren’t completely symmetrical, but there are many similar pieces that will fit in equivalent positions, so very careful pattern matching is essential to avoid too much swapping at the end. I started by pairing the spirals and working outwards from the stripey bodies. Some dropouts were easier to put together than others and the short sides and corners came next. I had to check the box occasionally to see the overall pattern. I found this 450pc jigsaw quite difficult, but very satisfying.
