Friday Street, Surrey-(250-piece)

250 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle from Wentworth, featuring a photographic image ©V.K. Guy 2005, featuring the Surrey hamlet of Friday Street, so named because of a fish market held there on Fridays, in medieval times. This puzzle includes 18 avian-themed whimsies, or figural shapes, some of which are themselves comprised of several pieces, such as the cleverly composed owl, branch, and moon section shown in close-up.

Interestingly, this 250 piece version carries the same identity number as the 1000 piece also featured, indicating that this number refers to the image, as opposed to the puzzle size.
