Unnumbered Satona puzzles

It is thought that these were introduced before Waddington's began selling Satona puzzles with design numbers.

Without any formal identification or catalogues it is not possible to determine how many unnumbered designs there might have been and is likely they were issued on an "ad hoc" basis.

Another design, ie a seascape including a tug, sailing vessels and a steamer in the background has come to light.
