A Quiet Game of Nap (Pears)

H Thornton of 28 Mount St Lincoln cut this jigsaw from the second print in a series of two from the Pears Annual of 1897. WG Baxter depicted a before and after scene in an explosive card game of Napoleon (Nap), where for one player it all goes horribly wrong.
As usual, a piece is stamped with the cutter’s name and Lincoln address.
