Ye Olde Village Inne

Very small, 200 piece, non-interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle, cut into incredibly small pieces with colour line-cutting applied at just about every conceivable opportunity. Interestingly, the label for this example carries the names of two cutters, that of Thelwell Mather Pike and M.F. Knott, the latter perhaps being responsible for the tiny nature of so many of the puzzle pieces.

Although the box label carries the above title, the painting is actually a very famous one indeed, by the great 16th century Flemish artist Pieter Breughel the Elder, more familiarly known as "The Peasant Wedding".
