rendez-vous de la chasse au Manoir, Le

This large example from the uncommon French brand of Lux Michou Puzzles is my first from this maker. It features a painting by Frank Moss Bennett dated 1929 and carrying printing identification © Felix Rosenstiel's Widow & Son Ltd 1958.
The puzzle is cut in a predominantly fully-interlocking style, rather reminiscent of the Swiss Penelope brand. Exact date origins of the puzzle are unknown, but thought likely to be of the c1960's period. The puzzle is backed with plain white paper, much like the more common French manufacturer Puzzle Vera of Paris.
