4290-Irish Spinning Wheel, An

200-piece "Maze Cut" plywood jigsaw puzzle from this very limited production British brand. As mentioned in the brand album, this title appears as the only example listed in Tom Tyler's detailed "Compendium", which accompanied his publication "British Jigsaw Puzzles of the "20th Century".

The cutting style is fully interlocking and the puzzle is housed in a sturdy card box with lift-off lid and smaller scale black & white guide image.

The painting is by the Irish artist James Humbert Craig (1877-1944).
